Nissan Skyline R32 & R34 (Std Valve)
This engine has massive tuning potential and the Skyline Engine has been on our intended devlopment schedule for some time. We were commisioned to build several Skyline engines for clients so this cylinder head was given the full treatment.
Our aim was to produce in excess of 600BHP at 1.5 bar boost. In the course of development we found the most CFM gain on the exhaust side of the head. In this case we achieved a 17.4% increase in flow. This is quite common with turbo engines. We also found a further 8% on the inlet side. The end result was a standard valve engine which was built and dyno'ed which produced 620 BHP at 1.5 bar of boost. The engine not only showed good top end BHP but also showed excellent low to mid range torque making the car quite practical for the road.

We know what will perform and what will cause problems. When you start exploiting the full potential of our cylinder heads, especially turbo engines, you need to know what you are doing. We can advise on all tuning applications including fast road, track day, racing, rally and drag racing.
Its important to emphasise (again) that we guarantee our flow figures. Not only will you recieve a head which will flow as we say it will, but also that flow is matched between cylinders across the head. We have used state of the art CNC technology to reproduce our best final prototype. We also provide a final hand finish for that last 1% of flow.
We currently (Nov 2008) developing a Big valve version of this head. Again we looking for maximum BHP without using very high levels of boost. Current predictions (based on gas flow achieved so far) is that this head will produce 900 BHP at around 1.6 bar boost. Call us for further details.
Cost for this head is £1350.00 + vat on an exchange basis. (£500 exchange). A 'taping' service is also available for this head at an additional cost of £100 which will give the final hand finish to the ports and provide a further 1% flow.
Note : flow diagrams show flow against specific valve openings at 0.050 inch valve openings at 25" pressure. Therefore actual flow volume increase is measured as the area under the graph (indicated in yellow for inlet and blue for exhaust). Standard valve sizes are used on our heads unless specified as a big valve version. Tests shown here are carried out on a flow bench on a bare head without filters. Therefore the difference between a standard engine with standard inlet ducting and filters will be larger than shown here.

Custom made Camshafts With all of our gas flowed heads we also provide a custom made camshaft service. These camshafts are designed to optimise the flow characteristics of our heads. They can also be specifically designed to deliver the power characteristcs you require for your specific application. Your existing camshaft will work with our heads, however, if you want to get the most from one of these heads or you have a particular power characteristc you are looking for, we recommend that you consider our custom camshafts.
