Renault Clio 172 & 182 2.0 16v
A real pocket rocket, the Renault is a favourite amongst street tuners, track day drivers circuit racers and rally drivers so it clearly deserved a place on our development schedule. We found significant improvements were possible with this head. 8.1 % improvement in inlet flow and a massive 24.6% improvement in exhaust flow. We estimate with suitable modifications to fueling, ignition and exhaust that 251BHP is possible with this head. If you are considering turbocharging this engine, the improvement in exhaust flow would be especially good with better low down boost and less lag.

Its important to emphasise (again) that we guarantee our flow figures. Not only will you recieve a head which will flow as we say it will, but also that flow is matched between cylinders across the head. We have used state of the art CNC technology to reproduce our best final prototype. We also provide a final hand finish for that last 1% of flow.
Note : flow diagrams show flow against specific valve openings at 1mm valve openings at 25" pressure. Therefore actual flow volume increase is measured as the area under the graph (indicated in yellow for inlet and blue for exhaust)
Cost for this head is £750.00 + vat on an exchange basis. (£350 exchange). A 'taping' service is also available for this head at an additional cost of £100 which will give the final hand finish to the ports and provide a further 1% flow.

Custom made Camshafts With all of our gas flowed heads we also provide a custom made camshaft service. These camshafts are designed to optimise the flow characteristics of our heads. They can also be specifically designed to deliver the power characteristcs you require for your specific application. Your existing camshaft will work with our heads, however, if you want to get the most from one of these heads or you have a particular power characteristc you are looking for, we recommend that you consider our custom camshafts. We are happy to discuss and advise on any aspect of modifying your engine with one of our heads to achieve the results we predict above. We can also supply the best quality gaskets, camshaft, valves, valve springs and head bolts to go with your new cylinder head. We also specialise in electronic engine management, carb and fuel injection , turbo and supercharger systems. We build race engines too. Built and tested on our own 1000bhp Engine Dyno. We can also fit your head to your engine if required and test your vehicle on our rolling road.
