A kit car and competition car favourite. Powerful and durable and light weight. Fitted to many Rover cars , MGF, and the Lotus Elise. Also used in Westfield and Caterham cars and many kit cars. Its light weight and punchy power is greatly improved by this gas flowed head.

Our flow stats (and the graph below) show a very impressive improvement in gas flow for this head. Inlet port flow is increased by a massive 22.1% at max valve lift and is substantially higher across the lift range. (See yellow area of the graph). There’s a huge improvement across the valve lift range.

Exhaust port flow is also imprved by a massive 32% at max lift (See blue area) . This is a very healthy improvement in flow and will be reflected in the power of the engine and how the car drives. With suitable fuleing, camshaft and exhaust modifications, the true potential of this excellent engine is fully realised with this head. Capable of up to 213 BHP at 6800 RPM.

Got a hot Elise or kit car ?- make it hotter with one of our heads. The best bolt-on modification you can buy for this engine.

Cost for this head is £750.00 + vat on an exchange basis. (£350 exchange). A ‘taping’ service is also available for this head at an additional cost of £100 which will give the final hand finish to the ports and provide a further 1% flow.

Note : flow diagrams show flow against specific valve openings at 0.050 inch valve openings at 10″ pressure. Therefore actual flow volume increase is measured as the area under the graph (indicated in yellow for inlet and blue for exhaust). Standard valve sizes are used on our heads unless specified as a big valve version. Tests shown here are carried out on a flow bench on a bare head without filters. Therefore the difference between a standard engine with standard inlet ducting and filters will be larger than shown here.
